Ngiki consists of two creators;Ngina,a visual artist and Kimandi,a photographer.Together,they have created nude art since 2016.Fast-forward to late 2021,around October,they chose to come together and share their skills and ideas which resulted in the creation of Ngiki. Ngina is a visual artist.They discovered their love and connection to art at a young age and in February 2016 began posing in front of the camera as a muse.Along the way,they have developed and nurtured multiple interests in fields of modelling,creative fashion and styling,creative direction,jewellery making and photography. Through their vessel and the vessels of other muses,Ngina's greatest desire is to creatively tell real stories,inspire,provoke,challenge and remind us about the simple and complex special things that make us human. In addition to participating in ObscuraDao's 'WHO WE ARE' project as a subject,they have taken part in #Project ShowUs,a project by Dove,Getty Images and Girl Gaze,on breaking beauty standards and representation of real women in media. Kimandi's subjects appear confidently alive; he captures their energy by creating an openness and intimacy with them. Known for the extraordinary way in which he can capture the most private of moments, Kimandi’s spontaneous, intimate portraits offer the viewer new perspectives. In 2016, at the request of his clients to provide full creative direction services, he formed Kimandi photography which today is a growing team of individuals from East of Africa who support Kimandi to realise the breadth of his creative output.
